Northgate Lodge Equestrian is located at 38 Kokopu Block Road, Maungatapere, Whangarei.
Northgate Lodge is able to cater for show hunter, showjumping and dressage training events, predominantly during the winter months.
We have an 80x40m fibre surface arena with a full set of showjumps. Covered yards are available adjacent to the arena.
We have a lovely 4km ride through a beautiful avocado orchard, complete with several cross country jumps.
We have a small boutique riding school offering private and group lessons to children and adults.
We are also available for lessons with your own horse and have Workout Wednesdays - small group lessons focusing on flatwork, poles and grids.
Children will be able to attend school holiday camps and be involved in flat and jumping lessons, orchard riding, horse care, games and loads of fun!
We also have Adult Retreat weekends for those who enjoy lessons and socializing with friends.
The venue will also be available for a limited number of events held by other organisations. The ability to hold clinics and riding lessons is also an option. Visiting farriers, dentists, veterinarians and other health professionals may also use the venue as a gathering point.
